FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

 

1. HOW DO I GET STARTED?

  • The best way to begin is by booking a Starter Session via our website. During your first visit, we will learn about your goals and recommend the membership that best suits your schedule and training needs.

2. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY FIRST SESSION?

  • Please arrive a few minutes early and check in so we can welcome you properly. If needed, we have changing rooms available.

  • Around five minutes before class, your coach will explain how the session runs and answer any questions. If you are new to training or unfamiliar with the equipment, we will guide you so you feel confident before the workout begins.

3. WHAT HAPPENS DURING A CLASS?

​​

  • Each session begins with a guided warm-up to prepare your body.

  • You will then move through structured intervals, alternating between cardio machines and floor-based strength exercises. The format combines progressive strength training with conditioning for maximum results.

  • Every session finishes with a warm-down and stretch to support recovery and mobility.

4. CAN I COME AS A BEGINNER?

​​

  • Absolutely. Our classes are designed for all levels. You control your pace and weight selection, and our coaches provide regressions and guidance where needed.

  • For your first class, please arrive 15 minutes early so we can complete a short induction.

​​

5. WHAT MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

​​

  • We offer flexible monthly memberships based on how often you want to train. Please visit our Memberships page for full details. If you are unsure which option suits you best, we are happy to advise.

6. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

​​

  • You may cancel or change a booking up to 12 hours before the class start time without penalty.

  • Cancellations within 12 hours will incur a late cancellation fee in line with your membership type. A higher fee applies to no-shows without cancellation.

7. CAN I MOVE MY BOOKING?

​​

  • If there is availability, you may move to another class on the same day by contacting the studio.

  • Moving out of a sold-out class within the 12-hour cancellation window counts as a late cancellation and the relevant fee will apply.

8. DO YOU OFFER ONE-TO-ONE SESSIONS?

​​

  • Yes. We offer personalised one-to-one training tailored to your goals. Please email info@meta45.co.uk to arrange a consultation.

9. DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE HIRE OF THE STUDIO?

​​

  • Yes. Our studio is available for private bookings, including PT sessions, group classes, events and content creation.

  • Bookings include a dedicated instructor, personalised playlist and access to an adjacent space if required.

10. DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?

​​

  • Yes. Gift cards are available and make a great present for friends or family.Please email info@meta45.co.uk for details.

11. DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

​​

  • Just yourself, appropriate gym wear, trainers and waterbottle. We provide the equipment and guidance.

12. DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?

​​

  • We do not currently have showers. Lockers are available for your belongings and no padlock is required.

​​

13. CAN I BRING MY BIKE?

  • Yes. Members are welcome to bring bikes and we have space inside the studio for secure storage.
